Blinded By The Light

Lucy - I had been up early this morning to catch Sawusband on skype. Our room is carved out of the side of the hill; it’s really like a cave in that way. It is rather cool during the day & at night i’m feeling a little chilly (on the willy, if I had a willy to speak of), it would be fabulous in the super heat of summer.
You wouldn’t think that it is cold at all if you asked Andrew & Gusband who have the air-conditioning set on high 24/7. They’re crazy Mofo’s.
Anyway I digress, it was cold & pitch black inside our cave with all doors closed. I stumbled around trying to find a jacket & grabbed the computer to head outside (which is the only spot you can get internet connection). It was 6.30am when I opened the door I nearly killed myself as I went from the pitch black to being absolutely blinded by the burning hot sun!!! Turns out living in a cave can be deceiving…. Just when you think it’s very early in the morning, the sun will hardly be in the sky yet & it’s cold. When really the sun has apparently been up for hours, it’s burning bright & blinding me, it was at that point I realized I needed sunglasses stat & to get that stupid coat off.
the step where I sit while on skype

When I retold the tale to Andrew & Gusband, Andrew broke out in the song "Blinded by the Light" which he has been prone to do all trip. Thus far we have had "My name is Luka" while in Lucca, we had a revamped version of his 1st communion song while visiting the church here in Positano. I could go on & on & on but time is short & the list is long.....
outside the church where Andrew broke into song..

After my wee chat it was decided that cereal was in order for breakfast. We had been shopping previously for supplies. I grabbed out a bowl, poured in a few flakes & grabbed out the milk, gave it a pour, seems a little interesting, a little thick you might say…..Turns out the milk was not milk at all, it was cream. I thought don’t worry just add a little water to the mix it will be fine. Turns out its not fine, just creamy water really. This might not be the best start to my day. How about some toast instead.

Last night we went to another Restaurant called Mediteraneo. There was live music (a dude playing his guitar.

Prosecco to start

The music man

The host, Lorenzo.

I have no timing, it is beyond me why ended up with the tambourine

the night is coming along swimmingly

getting a little silly....

Yes definitely a little silly...

But then everyone was getting a little silly

Off home to bed before a new day. Our time here is starting to rush by, not many days left.

Now it is a new day....

It has been decided that today is a day of rest…. Actually Andrew decided this which translated means he is sick of walking down the stairs & wants to finish his book, which I might add is about Vampires & Witches (& we all know he laughs at the people sucked in by all the Vampire hype @ the moment) He admitted it was getting good so I doubt we will be seeing him today. Never fear I think Gusband I shall make the trek down, we have spotted a few ceramic shops, which may be in need of us dropping a few pennies in their tills.
Keep you posted Campers.

Andrew - What are you talking about? I love to exercise.... it's my body that isn't too fussed. Yes I am spending the morning reading while you both head to the shops. It's the view, it's got me sucked in completely. I think if I had this view to wake up to every morning I wouldn't be able to go to work.

I won't rehash your recount of the last few days but I will say this..... I think it is very important for our friendship that you have now heard my First Holy Communion song. "Today is my day. A very special day for me......" Not to mention all the other ones I've been driving you both crazy singing.

All together now campers. "My name is Luka, I live on the second floor." xx
