The Children

Lucy - Well there is nothing more important than the children (as we all know).
Between Andrew, Gusband & Sawusband & I we are dedicated to the welfare of our babies. Some would say a little too much.
I would like you to meet Henry the Newfoundland, he is 1 year old, been to boot camp twice already (I'm sure he will be in for a third stint soon).

These photos were taken this morning.
Henry having his morning coffee & pretending to be a good dog.

Stealing pens, his favourite pastime

Sawusband is forever telling me Henry is Autistic. I think that makes sense & might need to race him to the specialist (yet again) to get a diagnosis.

Henry is not an only child we also have Ishka the Birman cat, she is 10 years old & has nearly used up all of her 9 lives thanks to her 50kg little brother.

That's all the babies we have at the moment unless you include the worm farm out in the yard & yes that is more than enough.

Andrew - You forgot 6 year old Oscar and his 3 year old epileptic sister Phoebe

Lucy - so there you have it. We have one cat who walks in circles.
One dog who shakes rapidly, one who's a Kleptomaniac and one does nothing at all.... ever.

Why Us?

Andrew - You may be wondering why are Lucy & I blogging together and not, either individually or with our respective husbands. Well the answer is easy..... If we were blogging by ourselves we wouldn't keep it going. Having Lucy blogging on my behalf is too scary for words and vice versa. It's all about quality control.

The second part of that answer is our husbands. Gusband would be absolutely mortified if I was blogging every aspect of our lives for the world to see. He hates a Facebook status that involves him, so that was never going to happen. Sawusband? Well he isn't much of a sharer. I've known Sawusband for almost 10 years and I still don't really know what he does for work. I've started calling him a "Cultural Ambassador" because I think that seems just as vague. Don't worry, the boys feature in most of our ridiculousness so they won't be feeling left out.

Just wait until you read about our first Good Friday lunch! Good Lord! (pun intended)

Enjoy your day campers. xx

Wow.... We did it

Andrew - Ok, so technically I did it. Ever heard the expression "The blind leading the blind"? Well that would be this. This is really our test for when we go to travelling very soon (We'll get to that).
Lucy doesn't know that this is happening yet, but like most things in her life, I like to be controlling and a little bit surprising!

A little bit of background I guess will be necessary at some point but I'm quite sure we will get there. The main players you need to know about right now are gusband (my gay-husband) technically not my husband (once again we'll get there) and sawusband (Lucy's Sometimes-Away-Husband).

Lucy - Yes Andrew you sure "DID IT" this time... Good luck to all the people who stumble onto this accidentally (my heart goes out to you now). I am going to need a moment (& probably a few Gin's) to absorb what you have got us both into.
